How to Help

Ways You Can Contribute To Caiman Haiti Foundation

Support Children, Parents, and Grandparents in Haiti

What We Do

  • Support a permanent medical clinic
  • Collaborate with a clean water project
  • Assist with a community health program

Send medical teams to northern HaitiDuring the hurricane season of 2008, parts of northern Haiti were devastated by flooding and mudslides. We helped by sending medical teams, providing food, and assisting with the construction of several new homes. In January 2010, Haiti was hit by a 7.0-magnitude earthquake. More than 200,000 people were killed and even more, were injured. Many of the survivors were left without homes. Within days of the quake, two of our board members were in Haiti, working at a hospital in Port-au-Prince. In the following weeks and months, we distributed food and sent medical teams to assist those in need.

Send Checks of $20 or plus to support the delivery of donations to Haiti Children continue to receive daily lunch and some students are now studying in the universities of Haiti. Students are beginning to use computers and have dreams of becoming doctors, nurses, engineers, and teachers. One young lady says she wants to be a policewoman. My heart is overwhelmed as I see these kids grow up and think back to 30 years ago. People ask if Haiti is changing and I always respond with a resounding, “Yes! The area around Terre Blanche is changing – there is education; there is Hope!”
